Would you rather book tag

I was tagged by the lovely Anna’s Book Nook , Thank you! I’m really enjoying doing tags during this pandemic, and this one looks lot’s of fun. The Rules:

  • Answer the questions given to you by your nominator.
  • Make up your own questions and tag others.

Anna’s Questions:

  1. Would you rather only read one genre forever or be forced to read a different genre than the previous 3 books every time? (For a total of at least 4 genres per cycle) – I think the latter option, it would encourage me to read a wider range of books!
  2. Would you rather have your favorite character be a terrible person in real life or your favorite author be a horrible in real life?– I’m not sure if this is an unpopular opinion, but I would rather my favorite author be horrible irl. I feel much more connected to characters, and would be much more dissapointed by my expectations.
  3. Would you rather be an author or an editor/ publisher?– This is hard as I can’t imagine myself to be either. I’m swaying towards author, as it would be so amazing to create characters however I wish!
  4. Would you rather have to dog-ear your pages or have to write on them?– Dog ear them for sure! I like a well used book. I never write in books!
  5. Would you rather have a damaged book delivered to you every time or the wrong book to be delivered to you every time (the second or third time you may get the right one)?– A damaged book, I would get so frustrated not being able to read books I was super excited to order.
  6. Would you rather be a librarian or a bookseller?– A librarian. It would be nice not having to worry about finance, and know your giving anyone access to books. The science of organizing information, preserving ect would be interesting!
  7. Would you rather have your favorite character die in the end or have your favorite character not complete their mission/life goal?– Difficult! I think I would rather they die, as I would be heartbroken if my favorite character was heartbroken.
  8. Would you rather live in a library in space or a live in a library under the sea. – They both seem scary tbh… I think space would be cooler!
  9. Would you rather not be able to read any books from your favorite or have them not publish anything again?– Selfish, but not publish again. I would reread all!!
  10. Would you rather read everything ever published (even the worst books) or read only one book a year?– EVERYTHING! They seems like a dream tbh.

My questions:

  1. Would you rather have to only use a kindle for the rest of you life, or only be able to buy physical books 5 years after they’ve been published?
  2. Would you rather have a damaged book delivered to you every time or the wrong book to be delivered to you every time (you may get a right one)?
  3. Would you rather be a librarian or a bookseller?
  4. Would you rather be an author or an editor/ publisher?
  5. Would you rather only be able to read non fiction, or only be able to read fantasy?
  6. Would you rather have to dog-ear your pages or have to write on them?
  7. Would you rather only have books under 100 pages, or only have books with 800+ pages?
  8. Would you rather have your favorite character die in the end or have your favorite character not complete their mission/life goal?
  9. Would you rather not be able to read any books from your favorite or have them not publish anything again?
  10. Would you rather never be able to read the blurb of a book, or never be able to see the ratings&reviews?

I tag everyone reading this! (link me so I read your answers!)

  1. Nice answers! I also said I would rather my character did at the end of the book, than be incomplete, but I didn’t think about being heartbroken over the character’s sadness. Such a great point! Also, I’m totally selfish like you and would rather my favorite author stop publishing so I wouldn’t miss out on any books! Thanks for participating! ❤️
